The Intel SSD’s are 2.5-inch drives, but they will be also shipped with a 3.5-inch mounting frame. Intel goes as far as to claim that this solid state drive is faster than a RAID configuration consisting of two SATA HDD hard drives with 6Gb / s and 10,000 rev / min. Intel also highlights particularly the technology with eight parallel NAND flash channels which accelerate the drive in addition. Reason enough for us to check this SSD very closely.
